The Legend of Vox Machina is a production of Amazon Studios, Critical Role, and Titmouse for Prime Video. From a sinister necromancer to a powerful curse, the group confronts a variety of obstacles that not only test their skills, but also the strength of their bond. In a desperate attempt to pay off their mounting bar tab, these unlikely heroes end up on a quest to save the realm of Exandria from dark magical forces. It follows Vox Machina, a band of misfits with a fondness for boozing and brawling. The adult animated fantasy-adventure series, from Critical Role and Titmouse, is based on the beloved characters and adventures of Critical Role’s first livestreamed tabletop role-playing game (RPG) campaign.
The cast will also serve as executive producers on the project alongside Brandon Auman ("Star Wars: Resistance") and Chris Prynoski ("Metalocalypse") and with Sung Jin Ahn ("Niko and the Sword of Light") as supervising director.Amazon will officially release The Legend of Vox Machina this coming January. The show was so popular with fans that a second campaign was started in January 2018. The first campaign lasted 115 episodes, with each video lasting between three- and six-hours long.
